Retreat Facilitators & Presenters can include:
Sarah McLean

Sarah is an explorer of the inner and outer worlds and has been meditating for over 24 years. She's the author the best-selling book, Soul-Centered: Transform Your Life in 8 Weeks with Meditation and is known to many as the face of contemporary meditation.
In this retreat she shares her discoveries of expanded states of awareness and inspires you to still your mind, experience present moment awareness, come to know your true essence, and live a truly fulfilling, soul-centered life.
Sarah has also worked with Deepak Chopra, Debbie Ford, Gary Zukav, and Byron Katie and has developed mind/body health centers, self-discovery programs, curriculum, retreats, and educational events for each of them worldwide. Along the way she was fortunate enough to become immersed in their wisdom and knowledge.
After eight years working at Deepak Chopra's center as the Education Program Director, Sarah journeyed to India to meditate in an ashram for six months. She returned to the states and become a resident for almost two years in a Zen Buddhist training center. She has traveled thousands of miles through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, sometimes by bicycle, in search of the secrets of this world and answers to the mysteries of this life.
Sarah is the director of the McLean Meditation Institute for Transformative Meditation Training in Sedona, Arizona which offers meditation classes, weekend retreats and gatherings, as well as a Meditation Teacher Certification Program.
Marty Birrittella

After undergoing a spontaneous spiritual transformation in 1973 at the age of 20, Marty was inspired to make meditation his life's primaryfocus. He dropped out of Cornell where he was an engineering student, and headed off to India to explore meditation and spirituality. When he returned a few months later he moved into a meditation ashram in Boston, Massachusetts and became the manager of the daily affairs of the 50 residents for three years.
After leaving the ashram, he founded two multimillion dollar companies. As chairman and CEO he took them public. He reports his success is due to the power of "listening" to inner wisdom, a skill that he acquired through his daily meditation practice. At the age of 41, he retired to devote himself entirely to the love of his life, meditation.
In 2008, with the desire to inspire his adult children to follow their artistic passions, he began to paint. He had never painted before, but within two years the New York Times came to Sedona to view his work, calling his paintings “Van Goghesque vivid visions...” He no longer feels inspired to “paint by ear” as he called his technique. Instead, he continues his meditation practices and encourages others to follow their heart's desires.
Marty is a gifted facilitator who loves to share his approach to meditation. He's developed a transformational program of self-inquiry, what he calls the FREE Process. FREE stands for Find, Reveal, Experience, and Enlighten. And he believes this process helps those on the path of meditation to find freedom from falsely identifying with beliefs established unconsciously from infancy to adulthood.
